Since 1974 we have serviced over 3 million clients from western PA, all 50 states and over 100 different countries around the world. We reside in Pittsburgh's Oakland neighborhood and are conveniently located in the University and Medical district. Given the diversity of our clientele and varying degrees of previous salon experiences we added this in order to help you understand how we run things at Puccini's so we can better serve you.
Booking policy based around a 4 day per week staff and being open Monday through Saturday and tested and approved in a sampling of our clients.
Same Day/Walk-ins. Due to availability and special limitations we are currently not taking walk ins but you can call ahead to check availability for a same day appointment with the next available stylist.
Pre-Booked Appointments- Our highest priority of client are those who pre-book their next appointment at the time of their current one. It gives us the ability to make sure we are well stocked with supplies specifically for you and puts a smile on our face when we look ahead and see your name in the schedule.
The weekend before/Monday of- If you want the best options available pre-book your next appointment during your current one, however if your life schedule does not allow you this flexibility contact us on Saturday while we are open, Sunday via the contact form or Monday when we open at 10am to check on availability for the week. This gives us the ability to give you decent availability with your preferred stylist or whom we feel would be the best fit for you.
If you have a hair emergency which results in a staff member needing to come in on their day off or adjusting their schedule in any way it will require a deposit which is refundable if you give us 48 hours notice. If you book during normal hours a deposit is usually not required unless it is a peak day and subject to the manager's discretion due to availability. Surge pricing may occur due to demand and does occur if a stylist comes in on their day off or a Sunday by appointment only.
